Heather brings a wealth of knowledge in real estate investments and financing. Before joining Key, Heather was Chief Investment Officer at Revera Inc., a leading owner and operator of seniors housing across Canada, the US and the UK. She has more than 25 years of diverse real estate and capital markets experience, including asset management, mergers and acquisitions, investments, financing, capital raising, and corporate strategy.
Heather’s prior leadership experience includes executive management and board roles at public and private companies in the banking and real estate industries. She managed significant strategic initiatives, restructurings, and financings. She was formerly CFO of Cominar REIT, Quebec’s largest commercial landlord and CFO of one of Canada’s largest owners and developers of senior housing properties.
Before her corporate career, Heather worked in REIT equity research and investment banking and led the real estate equity research team at a Canadian investment bank.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and is a CFA Charter holder. She is a member of the Board of Minto Apartment REIT and is Chair of the Audit Committee.
