“As a parent and new 50-year-old, I am at a point in my life where I only want to chase impact.  Key is all about impact.  My own refugee family benefited from affordable housing and I know countless families and friends in immigrant communities who need attainable housing now.  If one really cares about reducing the rich-poor gap, then we have to make homeownership attainable for citizens so that they can accumulate wealth and dream of a better life for the next generation.  Key has an inspiring tech-forward ecosystem approach of collaboration between governments, landlords and renters…and works harmoniously with private capital to address our global homeownership crisis.”

Servitude is at the core of Tenzin’s everyday purpose.  He is currently Chair of the Dalai Lama Center providing social and emotional learning to youth and he is a Board Member of the ABC Party which currently governs the City of Vancouver with the goal of affordability and safety for its citizens.

Tenzin thrives at building partnerships where governments, civil society and entrepreneurs can work together to innovatively address society’s major challenges like human rights, housing and energy transition.   In addition to co-founding two start-ups specializing in video and influencer marketing technologies, his corporate leadership background includes Deloitte, Google and the Government of Canada with a focus on Treasury, Industry, Immigration and Multiculturalism.

A graduate of McGill University with a double Major in International Business and Finance, Tenzin is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for his commitment to public service and once recognized as Canadian Top 40 influencing foreign policy. He is father to a NBA aspiring son, future dermatologist daughter and husband to a devoted teacher for children with special needs.
